Christmas in my home

in my kitchen to be specific. I love to slowly build up the Christmas feeling in my home and don't do it all in one day. You've already seen my advent candlestick and this is the how kitchen looks like. I'm going to do some more in the kitchen later this week.

An orange with cloves smells like Christmas!
A little bit of nature with a stripped red ribbon, I like the traditional Christmas style!

A happy 5th off December!

Ceramic Tuesday-Christmas edition!

More acorns is coming from my hands and they are so fun to make! This time in another clay and with a transparent glaze and with a little red and white ribbon they look great as Christmas decorations too!

We actually had some sun here today but the pictures still look dark and full of shadows...

A good day to you all!

A weekend in Copenhagen

We had a great weekend in Copenhagen. There's nothing better than to start a shopping day with a nice big hotel breakfast! Even though we say that we should do that at home we never do..we always prioritize sleeping in on weekends! Well, since it's December and I promised a post a day, here's some Christmas inspiration from Copenhagen! Enjoy!

The first Sunday off December

Advent, when I was a child we used to get a little gift every Sunday in December my mother would each year make a different advent calender. That to me was an indicator of a special event. Today the whole family was gathered at the hospital to visit my grandmother who's ill at the moment. Even though the event is sad I could see how happy she was that we all were there and that kind of made me happy. In this crazy moth off December there is little to no chance that we all are going to be in the same spot again. The whole family gathered is today an indicator of a special event. Let's just hope that we are all going to celebrate the end off December the same way we did today, with the exception of the location. I don't want to have Christmas in the hospital...

A different and a little weird post this time...but happy first off advent to you all!

December crafts

Already two days into December and I have so many things to show you! I have to post twice a day to catch up with myself:-) I'll start with a gift tag/ornament thingy I made a couple of days ago.
At first I thought they could work as gift tags this Christmas...
... but then they looked more like ornaments for the tree with the dangling pendant.
So, I made a few and on some I glued a picture in the middle and on others I just left the middle blank. That way I can choose what they're supposed to be! I saw the idea in one of my crafting magazines called Kreativa kvinnor and liked it. The template is in the shape of an old photo frame if you would like to do the same!
