The second Sunday in December

Yet another weekend is over and we haven't been at home. This month goes by so fast! In a week we'll get our new place and start renovating. My feeling about that is sort of ambivalent, it's going to be so much fun planing the whole apartment but it's also going to be hard and messy and a lots of work! But I don't want to think about that now, I'd rather look at this little pretty house I got last weekend in Copenhagen!

Tow angels (not made by me) some mushrooms and a little house with a candle in it, happy second Sunday in December!

Time for Christmas crafts?

This still life needs something more Christmas feeling. I'm thinking something like this. To bad that we are going away this weekend as well and I won't have time to craft. Maybe next week. But if you have some time over this weekend to do some Christmas crafting here's some others nifty peoples ideas:
A cute owl garland?
Or some handmade notebooks to give away?
How about some paper snowflakes for the tree or as greeting cards?
Here's another idea for a little Christmas tree.

Have a great weekend!

An excuse to post...

As the faithful blogger I am, I'm still posting even though I should be writing on my thesis...No, I'm using blogging as an excuse not to write. Anyway, I would like to show you my latest ATC's made on the Christmas and winter theme.

To bad Picasa crops the pictures so bad but as always you can go to my flickr to see them all in their right size.

Have a great day!

Christmas in my home

in my kitchen to be specific. I love to slowly build up the Christmas feeling in my home and don't do it all in one day. You've already seen my advent candlestick and this is the how kitchen looks like. I'm going to do some more in the kitchen later this week.

An orange with cloves smells like Christmas!
A little bit of nature with a stripped red ribbon, I like the traditional Christmas style!

A happy 5th off December!

Ceramic Tuesday-Christmas edition!

More acorns is coming from my hands and they are so fun to make! This time in another clay and with a transparent glaze and with a little red and white ribbon they look great as Christmas decorations too!

We actually had some sun here today but the pictures still look dark and full of shadows...

A good day to you all!
