The Christmas monster has stroked again...This time he broke one of the tree ornaments and dug a big hole in the pot where the little Christmas tree is....There was soil everywhere! Do you want him?

Monday the 8th
Monday the 8th and I have started the countdown for our departure to Malaysia...As much as I love my job and decorating for Christmas, I need a break, a nice and long one! But before I go away on my trip I'm going to show you something here everyday. Today is the last pictures from the nice crafting from nature decorations that we made a couple of weeks ago:
and of course an amaryllis, a true Christmas flower with a little wreath and a red Christmas heart. This was so simple to make and looked to great!

The first candle is lit
I'm going to try to post every day until we leave for Malaysia. I would like this to be some kind of advent calender were there is something new to look at every day until Christmas. Well see....
Today I'm going to show my advent candles that I made on Sunday! And some pictures from last Christmas:

Autumn inside and out
On Sunday we took our bikes and went out in the lovely autumn weather! It was a clear crisp day. I found perfect acorns and leafs in all colours. We where headed to my mothers to have a Sunday dinner there with my brothers and my aunt. So the inside decorating is from my mothers house.

We also bring our cat with us. He loves riding in a basked wrapped in my jacket or a blanket!

Here, have some apple chips!
Well. I'm still home so I might just as well post a little. Yesterday I felt a little hungry for something sweet and since I couldn't go out I had to look through the cabinet's...We had lots of apples from my mothers garden. So I made apple chips! A really nice and healthy snack( I would think this was some kind of commercial). Well, I cut them up in nice thin slices and put them in the oven on 75 degrees Celsius (about 160 F) in four hours with the oven slightly open (all according to a recipe I found on the internet). They turned out great! Crispy just like a chips should be! This morning the jar was full, now...not so much...
I'm having a cup of tea and a hand full of home made apple chips! You should try it too, without the sore throat...

Lovely September!
I hope you are having a good Saturday! The weather here is warm and a bit windy. But perfect for a nice cup of hot chocolate in the sun! I've been out shopping for birthday gifts and a goodbye gift. I'll show you what I chose another day (in case they are reading this):-)

More wreaths
Yesterday I had my day off again and spent it at my mothers crafting. This time I made a wreath but from rosehips. Here's a little picture list on how to make them:

making apples
I made some apples yesterday from a pattern in a book I found at my mothers. These were so easy and quick to make, I think I'm going to do more! With these fabrics!

I'm playing with the thought of making lost and lost and have a bowl full and even some for my neglected etsy...Do you want to have a look at my slowly progressing craft room, have a look here

The tree!
I woke up this morning and the sun was shining! It was more late morning, early noon (we were at a Christmas party last night) but anyhow, it was shining!!
My little tree topper- an angel that I made a couple of years ago. And no, she is not hurt by being pined to the tree, she llikes it!
There are something that you can't see in this picture but I have a lot of glass icicles and my dangling hearts are there too. But there will be some more, it just takes some time to get it perfect! ;-) Keep enjoying your weekend!Friday, December 14
Everything is starting to fall into place
Here comes the first pictures of our tree! I'm going to give it to you in parts, just because I still don't have a good picture of the whole thing yet... I thought I'd also show you my wrapping for this year as well. Lots of to do- things are done now. I've sent all my Christmas greetings, bought and decorated the tree and this weekend we are making the Christmas goodies! All the ingredients are bought and ready to become delicate Christmas candy! :-)

Christmas in my home
Yes, the Christmas decorating is slowly growing here. Here are two white Santa's sitting in my kitchen window and waiting for the snow to fall...I made these a long time ago and they are probably one of my first Christmas decorating in my own home. They are made in fleece fabric and are really easy to make.
